Code Ann. § 2-24-110","heading":"Receivership","body":"(a) Following the suspension of a dealer's license under this chapter, the State Plant Board may file a verified petition in a court of competent jurisdiction requesting the appointment of a receiver to take custody of the assets of the dealer and provide for the disposition of the assets under the supervision of the court.\n\n(b) A petition for the appointment of a receiver shall be filed in the county in which the dealer is located.\n\n(c) Upon receiving a petition for the appointment of a receiver under this section, a court may issue any temporary orders necessary to preserve or protect the assets in receivership, the value of the assets in receivership, and the rights of the dealer's creditors until a plan of disposition is approved.\n\n(d) The board may be appointed as receiver in an action brought under this section.","path":["AR Code","Title 2","Chapter 24"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"abfce4ff3cb5c1d688a9b9c05b5bb350c15a2b29a879a6f38d88726dcf78c749","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-24-109","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-24-111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
