Code Ann. § 2-34-205","heading":"Custody of county brand records","body":"(a) All county brand records of the various counties of the state shall be property of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission, and it shall be unlawful for a county clerk to accept a brand for registry.\n\n(b) The Department of Agriculture shall collect all county brand record books and place them in its office and preserve them as public records on behalf of the commission.\n\n(c) The department shall furnish a record of any brand record in the county record books to any person for a reasonable fee determined by the department to offset the costs of furnishing the record.","path":["AR Code","Title 2","Chapter 34","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"56d240037c5bbddb2f56bbb5d8e05b58d1f6d58dc91c2fe09ed3529ea444d269","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-34-204","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-34-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
