Code Ann. § 2-40-401","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Approved incineration\" means a method of incineration approved by the commission;\n\n(2) \"Commission\" means the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission created by § 2-33-101 ;\n\n(3) \"Fowl\" shall include all domesticated avian species;\n\n(4) \"Fowl carcasses\" means carcasses of fowl which died as the result of sickness, suffocation, accident, or from any cause other than intentional slaughter; and\n\n(5) \"Responsible person\" means the person who has the direct responsibility for the day-to-day care of the fowl involved.","path":["AR Code","Title 2","Chapter 40","Subchapter 4"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"9c39cd324c6b4682da448d27b0a6e458d8addf5f7e8021ede8d90be296c1e052","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-40-303","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-2-40-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
