Code Ann. § 20-10-214","heading":"Penalties for sections 20-10-213 - 20-10-228","body":"(a) Any person, partnership, association, or corporation establishing, conducting, managing, or operating any institution or facility or any combination of separate entities working in concert within the meaning of §§ 20-10-213 - 20-10-228 without first obtaining a license therefor as provided or violating any provision of §§ 20-10-213 - 20-10-228 or rule lawfully promulgated under §§ 20-10-213 - 20-10-228 shall be guilty of a violation.\n\n(b) Upon conviction, the person, partnership, association, or corporation shall be liable for a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) for the first offense nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each subsequent offense.\n\n(c) Each day that the institution shall operate after a first conviction shall be considered a subsequent offense.","path":["AR Code","Title 20","Chapter 10","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"e561e03d64a9fff034b75699e4a1af50c060492ca00e00f31effb845cbeb9b7b","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-213","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-215"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
