Code Ann. § 20-10-401","heading":"Penalty","body":"(a) Any person, partnership, association, or corporation establishing, conducting, managing, or operating any long-term care facility without first obtaining a license as provided by law shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be liable to a fine imposed pursuant to a Class A misdemeanor.\n\n(b) Each day that a long-term care facility shall operate after a first conviction shall be considered a Class D felony and upon conviction shall be liable to a fine imposed pursuant to a Class D felony.","path":["AR Code","Title 20","Chapter 10","Subchapter 4"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"a387727ed19188debd285b379aeacf0e24f1582f08d39a5f79fe6c780d1d1926","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-302","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
