Code Ann. § 20-10-903","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subchapter:\n\n(1) \"Administrator\" means a long-term care facility administrator as defined in § 20-10-101 ;\n\n(2) \"Emergency\" means a situation, a physical condition, or one (1) or more practices, methods, or operations which threaten the health, security, or welfare of residents;\n\n(3) \"Facility\" means a long-term care facility which is required to be licensed under § 20-10-224 ;\n\n(4) \"Habitual violation\" means a violation of state or federal law which, due to its repetition, presents a reasonable likelihood of serious physical or mental harm to residents;\n\n(5) \"Licensee\" means any person or any other legal entity that is licensed or required to be licensed to operate a facility;\n\n(6) \"Owner\" means the holder of the title to the real estate in which the facility is maintained;\n\n(7) \"Resident\" means any person who lives in and receives services or care in a long-term care facility; and\n\n(8) \"Substantial violation\" means a violation of state or federal law which presents a reasonable likelihood of serious physical or mental harm to residents.","path":["AR Code","Title 20","Chapter 10","Subchapter 9"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"26c308754e70b29afc38bd2d609d4de4dd40d70be15610aed71451952b5fa1b9","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-902","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-10-904"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
