Code Ann. § 20-27-2505","heading":"Powers and duties","body":"The Department of Health shall administer and enforce this subchapter with the powers and duties to:\n\n(1) Require and regulate training and examinations for individuals engaged in performing lead-based paint activities under this subchapter;\n\n(2) Establish standards and procedures for the licensing and certification of firms and individuals engaged in lead-based paint activities and training providers engaged in training individuals for certification under this subchapter;\n\n(3) Enforce rules necessary or appropriate to the implementation of this subchapter, including without limitation taking legal action in a court of competent jurisdiction;\n\n(4) Issue licenses and certifications to all applicants that satisfy the requirements of this subchapter and any rule adopted under this subchapter;\n\n(5) Renew the licenses and certifications under this subchapter; and\n\n(6) Suspend or revoke the licenses and certifications under this subchapter for cause and after notice and opportunity for a hearing.","path":["AR Code","Title 20","Chapter 27","Subchapter 25"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"6ec7b27b5c495d91b1011ea864a710fcb16be6639c7f9914986a1115e9926507","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-27-2504","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-27-2506"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
