Code Ann. § 20-80-307","heading":"Recognition of representative organizations","body":"(a) The governing boards of directors of the nineteen (19) existing community action organizations are recognized as the representative organizations of the community action agencies as recognized in § 20-80-305 .\n\n(b) The appropriate division of the Department of Human Services is authorized, whenever agency boundaries have been changed in accordance with § 20-80-306 , to recognize the representative organizations of the new community action agencies.\n\n(c) In order to qualify for recognition and further benefits under this subchapter, a community action agency shall have been organized and constituted under the provisions of the Community Service Block Grant Act of 1981 and shall have a governing board whose numbers are elected and are representatives of specific community interests in accordance with the Community Service Block Grant Act of 1981.","path":["AR Code","Title 20","Chapter 80","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"2d68f33a1b66cc9578702a0517f4633e25deb2a9de01c6b00769e16fd4a5e35a","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-80-306","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-20-80-309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
