Code Ann. § 22-4-405","heading":"Criteria for acceptance into Arkansas Trails System","body":"Trails accepted into the Arkansas Trails System shall meet criteria as established by the Arkansas Trails Council and the State Parks Division, which shall include:\n\n(1) A guaranteed right-of-way for public use for a minimum period of five (5) years;\n\n(2) Trail operation and maintenance for a minimum period of five (5) years by an acceptable responsible organization;\n\n(3) Adherence to state trails standards and guidelines for the trail type designated;\n\n(4) Readiness of the trail for public use;\n\n(5) Proper marking and signing; and\n\n(6) Conformity of the trail with goals established in the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan or the Arkansas Trails Plan.","path":["AR Code","Title 22","Chapter 4","Subchapter 4"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"4454350f0e23bca8c2d11f042b1f2ef68535ccab682e8e3d5941b8825500b7d1","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-22-4-404","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-22-4-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
