Code Ann. § 23-51-139","heading":"Civil enforcement - Criminal penalties","body":"(a) The Bank Commissioner may bring any appropriate civil action against any person who the commissioner believes has committed or is about to commit a violation of this chapter or a rule or order of the commissioner pertaining to this chapter.\n\n(b) A person who knowingly fails or refuses to file the application required by § 23-51-135 commits an offense.
