Code Ann. § 23-55-806","heading":"Criminal penalties","body":"(a) A person that intentionally makes a false statement, misrepresentation, or false certification in a record filed or required to be maintained under this chapter, that intentionally makes a false entry or omits a material entry in such a record, or violates any rule promulgated or order issued hereunder is guilty of a Class B felony.\n\n(b) A person that knowingly engages in an activity for which a license is required under this chapter without being licensed under this chapter and who receives more than $500 in compensation within a 30-day period from this activity is guilty of a Class B felony.\n\n(c) A person that knowingly engages in an activity for which a license is required under this chapter without being licensed under this chapter and who receives no more than $500 in compensation within a 30-day period from this activity is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.","path":["AR Code","Title 23","Chapter 55"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"b8cd02eb54f7573cef20b0fe49a96c72ae2ae01388263da586e4e4b96bde1744","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-23-55-805","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-23-55-807"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
