Code Ann. § 23-67-216","heading":"Advisory organizations - Permitted activities","body":"Any advisory organization, in addition to other activities permitted, is authorized to:\n\n(1) Develop statistical plans, including territorial and class definitions;\n\n(2) Collect statistical data from members, subscribers, or any other source;\n\n(3) Prepare and distribute pure premium data, adjusted for loss development and loss trending, in accordance with its statistical plans;\n\n(4) Prepare, distribute, and file rates and supplementary rate information except as prohibited by § 23-67-215(b) . Those filings made by advisory organizations shall be for advisory purposes only and shall not be made on behalf of any insurer;\n\n(5) Distribute information that is filed with the Insurance Commissioner and open to public inspection;\n\n(6) Conduct research and on-site inspections in order to prepare classifications of public fire defenses;\n\n(7) Consult with public officials regarding public fire protection as it would affect members, subscribers, and others;\n\n(8) Conduct research and collect statistics in order to discover, identify, and classify information relating to cause or prevention of losses;\n\n(9) Prepare and file policy forms and endorsements and consult with members, subscribers, and others relative to their use and application;\n\n(10) Conduct research and on-site inspections for the purpose of providing risk information relating to individual structures;\n\n(11) Collect, compile, and distribute past and current prices of individual insurers if that information is made available to the general public;\n\n(12) File rates, supplementary rate information, and supporting information for residual market mechanisms; and\n\n(13) Furnish any other services not prohibited by this chapter.","path":["AR Code","Title 23","Chapter 67","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"9ec13ce68b0e109141f86f8892c48ff0a1ff9bf9fdcb53ac32421942388b3103","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-23-67-215","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-23-67-217"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
