Code Ann. § 26-36-319","heading":"Disclosure of information","body":"(a) Notwithstanding § 26-18-303 or any other provisions of law prohibiting disclosure by the Revenue Division of the Department of Finance and Administration of the contents of taxpayer records or information and notwithstanding any confidentiality statute of any claimant agency, all information exchanged among the division, claimant agency, and the debtor which is necessary to accomplish and effectuate the intent of this subchapter is lawful.\n\n(b) The information obtained by a claimant agency from the division in accordance with the exemption allowed by subsection (a) of this section shall only be used by a claimant agency in the pursuit of its debt collection duties and practices, and any person employed by or formerly employed by a claimant agency who discloses any such information for any other purpose, except as otherwise allowed by § 26-18-303 , shall be penalized in accordance with the terms of that statute.","path":["AR Code","Title 26","Chapter 36","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"e1d51d5881737103811d08dff9b83b3f307148604c7e92dbcccda8300a7b1a23","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-26-36-318","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-26-36-320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
