Code Ann. § 27-22-207","heading":"Exemptions","body":"This subchapter shall not apply to any of the following motor vehicles or operators:\n\n(1) Trailers as defined in § 27-14-1202 , including without limitation semitrailers, travel trailers, boat trailers, pole trailers, and utility trailers;\n\n(2) Implements of husbandry as defined in § 27-14-104 ;\n\n(3) Any vehicle moved solely by animal power;\n\n(4) Inoperable or stored motor vehicles that are not operated, as defined by the rules of the Department of Finance and Administration and not subject to the provisions of this subchapter;\n\n(5) Motor vehicles owned by a licensed motor vehicle dealer, wholesaler, rebuilder, or reconditioner and held in inventory that are covered by a blanket liability insurance policy or commercial automobile liability insurance policy;\n\n(6) Motor vehicles properly registered in another jurisdiction and not legally required to be registered under this subchapter;\n\n(7) Motor vehicles owned by a bank, a subsidiary or affiliate of a bank, or finance company, acquired as an incident to their regular business, that are covered by a blanket liability insurance policy or commercial automobile liability insurance policy; or\n\n(8) Motor vehicles as prescribed by the Insurance Commissioner that are covered by a blanket liability insurance policy or commercial automobile liability insurance policy.","path":["AR Code","Title 27","Chapter 22","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"0a0b371dd915cbf5b1921d2c5e2415bb9ce0091802c2a1660c384d585047e331","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-22-206","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-22-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
