(b) (1) The commission may request that the Department of Finance and Administration discontinue one (1) or more special license plates that existed before April 13, 2005. (2) To request a discontinuance of one (1) or more special license plates under this subchapter, the commission shall present a resolution to the secretary stating which plates the department is to discontinue.
