Code Ann. § 27-52-108","heading":"Flashing signals","body":"Whenever flashing red or yellow signals are used, they shall require obedience by vehicular traffic as follows:\n\n(1) Flashing red, which is a stop signal, means when a red lens is illuminated by rapid intermittent flashes, drivers of vehicles shall stop before entering the nearest crosswalk at an intersection or at a limit line when marked, and the right to proceed shall be subject to the rules applicable after making a stop at a stop sign; and\n\n(2) Flashing yellow, which is a caution signal, means when a yellow lens is illuminated with rapid intermittent flashes, drivers of vehicles may proceed through the intersection or past the signal only with caution.","path":["AR Code","Title 27","Chapter 52","Subchapter 1"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"ded3c1c558f5f740e39655f530e5cd0026137b4076ca0e69cbfa3fcb60e53cfc","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-52-107","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-52-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
