Code Ann. § 27-65-144","heading":"Additional annual reporting","body":"(a) The Arkansas Department of Transportation shall analyze all reported wrong-way crashes on interstate highways and other freeways that are a part of the state highway system to determine whether the installation of additional traffic control devices is warranted and feasible in order to reduce the possibility of future wrong-way crashes.\n\n(b) Any additional traffic control devices installed under subsection (a) of this section shall conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, approved by the Federal Highway Administration as the national standard in accordance with 23 U.S.C. § 109(d) , 23 U.S.C. § 114(a) , 23 U.S.C. § 217 , 23 U.S.C. § 315 , 23 U.S.C. § 402(a) , 23 C.F.R. Part 655, and 49 C.F.R. §§ 1.48(b)(8) , 1.48(b)(33) , and 1.48(c)(2) , and is the manual adopted by the State Highway Commission under § 27-52-104 .\n\n(c) A person may not file a legal action as a result of the implementation of any recommendations made from studies conducted under this section.","path":["AR Code","Title 27","Chapter 65"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"a3dfb835fa8cd4b8083bb9a11ab0076d0903507860fcbaad85d09147a4fb8e65","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-65-143","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-27-65-145"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
