Code Ann. § 3-9-205","heading":"Rules - Police power of state and local governments","body":"(a) The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is authorized to adopt and enforce reasonable rules governing the qualifications for permits hereunder, the operation of licensed premises, and otherwise implementing and effectuating the provisions and purposes of this subchapter and, in so doing, shall be guided, insofar as pertinent, by rules now or hereafter applicable to retail liquor outlets.\n\n(b) Nothing in this subchapter, however, shall be construed as limiting the power of other proper state or local governmental bodies to regulate the operation of establishments under this subchapter as may be necessary for the protection of public health, welfare, safety, and morals.","path":["AR Code","Title 3","Chapter 9","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"1c055a748b0f0c7e80c2ba0a37807473438cb32642358afe414cff374d1ea052","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-3-9-204","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-3-9-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
