Code Ann. § 4-19-104","heading":"Filing requirements","body":"Notwithstanding §§ 4-9-302(3) , 4-9-302(4) , 4-9-401(1) , and 4-9-402 - 4-9-406 :\n\n(1) If filing is required under the Uniform Commercial Code, subtitle 1 of this title, the proper place to file statements pertaining to a security interest in personal property or fixtures of a transmitting utility is in the office of the Secretary of State;\n\n(2) When the financing statement covers goods of a transmitting utility which are or are to become fixtures, no description of the real estate concerned is required;\n\n(3) A security interest in rolling stock of a transmitting utility may be perfected either as provided in § 20(c) of the Interstate Commerce Act or by filing a financing statement pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code as provided in subdivision (1) of this section; and\n\n(4) A financing statement filed pursuant to subdivision (1) of this section shall remain effective until terminated without the need for filing a continuation statement under § 4-9-403 .","path":["AR Code","Title 4","Chapter 19"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"cfdc2688413c404d9eff1ed39235365e23d97c54c42ad1fb4d43e1889c971c37","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-4-19-103","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-4-20-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
