Code Ann. § 4-71-210","heading":"Classification","body":"(a) The Secretary of State shall by rule establish a classification of goods and services for convenience of administration of this subchapter, but not to limit or extend the applicant's or registrant's rights, and a single application for registration of a mark may include any or all goods upon which, or services with which, the mark is actually being used indicating the appropriate class or classes of goods or services.\n\n(b) When a single application includes goods or services which fall within multiple classes, the Secretary of State may require payment of a fee for each class.\n\n(c) To the extent practical, the classification of goods and services should conform to the classification adopted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.","path":["AR Code","Title 4","Chapter 71","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"d6100a57d84984168f0eec6381afed87d1ec438019df9efee38d76fe3ec09801","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-4-71-209","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-4-71-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
