Code Ann. § 6-13-1005","heading":"Alteration of boundaries","body":"(a) The State Board of Education, upon the request of one (1) or more school district boards of directors, and consistent with the provisions of § 6-13-1003 , may alter the boundaries of a proposed or operational education service cooperative when it determines such alteration to be in the best interest of the school districts in the education service cooperatives involved.\n\n(b) Consistent with § 6-13-1003 , a member of an education service cooperative formed after January 1, 1984, under The Public School Educational Cooperative Act of 1981, § 6-13-901 et seq., may not be moved to another education service cooperative without that member's consent.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 13","Subchapter 10"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"cd00ae3be4202d6000721583a13a5381de31c629582e15ca1adc910c110bce38","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1004","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1006"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
