Code Ann. § 6-13-1022","heading":"Dissolution of education service cooperative","body":"(a) After 1990, the State Board of Education shall be authorized to dissolve any education service cooperative upon the request of a majority of its school district boards of directors or upon the recommendation of the evaluation committee provided for in § 6-13-1021 .\n\n(b) A dissolved education service cooperative's area shall be assigned to one (1) or more adjacent education service cooperatives, the provisions of § 6-13-1003 notwithstanding, with the dissolved education service cooperative's base funding apportioned to all remaining education service cooperatives in the state.\n\n(c) After payment of debts, the assets of a dissolved education service cooperative shall be distributed to the school districts in its service area based on each school district's three-quarter average daily membership for the immediately preceding school year.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 13","Subchapter 10"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"af56898b1a3a3f4174e0416f1a05f9b0f7fcacd65b1447fdc3e722fa39af52c7","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1021","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1023"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
