Code Ann. § 6-13-1601","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subchapter:\n\n(1) \"Administrative annexation\" means the joining of an affected district or a part of the school district with a receiving district;\n\n(2) \"Administrative consolidation\" means the joining of two (2) or more school districts to create a new single school district with one (1) administrative unit and one (1) board of directors that is not required to close school facilities;\n\n(3) \"Affected district\" means a school district that loses territory or students as a result of administrative annexation or administrative consolidation;\n\n(4) \"Average daily membership\" has the same meaning as defined in § 6-20-2303 ;\n\n(5) \"Receiving district\" means a school district or districts that receive territory or students, or both, from an affected district as a result of administrative annexation; and\n\n(6) \"Resulting district\" means the new school district created from an affected district or affected districts as a result of administrative consolidation.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 13","Subchapter 16"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"56df93d6f24636190898873b1cdc4d8d335db631a7914edc3fe6d6e4deb375ce","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1505","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-13-1602"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
