Code Ann. § 6-16-306","heading":"Vocational-technical high schools","body":"(a) Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed as prohibiting a school district from operating a designated, approved area vocational-technical high school in keeping with federal or state legislation and Career Education and Workforce Development Board rules pertaining thereto.\n\n(b) Enrollments in area vocational-technical high schools include domiciliary residents and residents from outside the school district.\n\n(c) Enrollments in such institutions may include students twenty-one (21) years of age or younger and students twenty-one (21) years of age or older.\n\n(d) The provision found in § 6-16-308 prohibiting students who have attained the age of twenty-one (21) from attending the public schools from kindergarten through grade twelve (K-12) shall not be applicable with reference to the area vocational-technical high school.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 16","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"ae177871d083c1420929a6c479cdabbd99367c44b01a79f18cc7aae7808bc774","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-16-305","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-16-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
