Code Ann. § 6-21-117","heading":"Leased academic facilities","body":"An academic facility leased by a school district shall:\n\n(1) Not be entitled to facilities program funding under the Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities Funding Act, § 6-20-2501 et seq.;\n\n(2) Conform to the school facility standards defined in the Arkansas School Facility Manual;\n\n(3) Be inspected by the Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation to ensure that the facility complies with required academic facility standards before the execution of a lease or a renewal of an existing lease;\n\n(4) Be eligible for a waiver commensurate with the Arkansas School Facility Manual granted by the Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation; and\n\n(5) Be exempt from the academic facility standards for the duration of the replacement of an academic facility that is lost due to a catastrophic event if the leased academic facility is used solely for the purpose of providing an academic facility.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 21","Subchapter 1"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"b98d54466a5dafaaf42adbef8b266ea3f9d9ae81443582c8d5b682dc8fdfe5c6","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-21-116","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-21-118"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
