Code Ann. § 6-60-804","heading":"Prohibitions on smoking","body":"(a) Smoking or the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited on each campus of state-supported institutions of higher education.\n\n(b) An individual or campus subject to the smoking prohibitions of this section shall not discriminate or retaliate in any manner against a person for making a complaint of a violation of this section or furnishing information concerning a violation to a person, campus, or governing authority.\n\n(c) The prohibitions on smoking in this section shall be communicated to all students and employees of state-supported institutions of higher education a minimum of thirty (30) days before July 31, 2009, and to each guest of a state-supported institution of higher education upon request.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 60","Subchapter 8"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"83f55584b115a7bd0387bacc5cfa5bd206c90cf94c51982970933e7a65a29ed9","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-60-803","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-60-805"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
