Code Ann. § 6-71-101","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Assessors\" means the assessors named by the improvement district commissioners as provided for in this chapter;\n\n(2) \"Collector\" means the improvement district collector named by the commissioners of the district;\n\n(3) \"Commission\" means the five-member board to be appointed as provided for in this chapter;\n\n(4) \"Commissioner\" means the board of improvement district commissioners appointed by the county judge of the county in which the district is located;\n\n(5) \"Corporate limits\" means the municipal or city limits of any city of the first class;\n\n(6) \"District\" means the special improvement districts provided for in this chapter; and\n\n(7) \"Real property\" shall have the same meaning and signification as are attached to the words in the acts providing for the collection of state, county, and city revenue.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"b86513ba0fb7115aa0bbdb0867256f2007f034d2b9466905d368bc2d6b5c91c5","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-68-108","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-71-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
