Code Ann. § 6-81-604","heading":"Conditions","body":"The Division of Higher Education may make initial and continuing grants to students under the following conditions:\n\n(1) Grant recipients shall be bona fide residents of the State of Arkansas, as defined by the Division of Higher Education;\n\n(2) Grant recipients shall maintain current certification with the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, allowing them to be employed by the public schools in Arkansas;\n\n(3) Grant recipients shall be currently employed as teachers or administrators in Arkansas and declare an intention to continue that employment in Arkansas;\n\n(4) Grant recipients shall be enrolled in an eligible accredited college or university in Arkansas;\n\n(5) Grant recipients shall be enrolled in college-level courses directly related to their employment as certified by the Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education; and\n\n(6) Grant recipients shall maintain a grade point average in their college work of no less than 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or maintain an appropriate equivalent as determined by the Division of Higher Education.","path":["AR Code","Title 6","Chapter 81","Subchapter 6"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"f517f32284676c4c3c9831bf170e6b81381191499f468e7863c243e8c4c83042","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-81-603","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-6-81-605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
