Code Ann. § 8-3-202","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subchapter:\n\n(1) \"Covered electric generating unit\" means an existing fossil-fuel-fired electric generating unit within the state that is subject to regulation under federal emission guidelines;\n\n(2) \"Federal emission guidelines\" means a final rule, regulation, guideline, or other requirement that the United States Environmental Protection Agency may adopt for regulating carbon dioxide emissions from covered electric generating units under § 111(d) of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7411(d) ; and\n\n(3) \"State plan\" means a plan to establish and enforce carbon dioxide emission control measures that the Division of Environmental Quality may adopt to implement the obligations of the state under the federal emission guidelines.","path":["AR Code","Title 8","Chapter 3","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"72d71d16147467d924188481730ea8147b11356968e0041ca9d17f46e0850bd4","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-8-3-201","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-8-3-203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
