Code Ann. § 9-14-214","heading":"Assigned support rights - Award of fee in action - Definition","body":"(a) In any action brought on behalf of a person to whom a support obligation is owed under an assignment pursuant to § 9-14-109 or pursuant to a contract for services under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, the Office of Child Support Enforcement of the Revenue Division of the Department of Finance and Administration shall be awarded a fee in an amount equal to not less than three percent (3%) and not more than six percent (6%) of the overdue support.\n\n(b) For purposes of this section, \"overdue support\" means a delinquency pursuant to an obligation created under a court order or an order of an administrative process established under state law for the support and maintenance of a minor child.","path":["AR Code","Title 9","Chapter 14","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"16212a745b410b1bfa7ba77e342784659be58d19d49fe6bc06fc81a841fe4428","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-9-14-213","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-9-14-215"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
