A county may not require a person who volunteers three or fewer times in a calendar year at an activity or function where food is being packaged or heated to obtain a food handler certificate or identification card or participate in a food handler certificate training course pursuant to section 11-269.12 if the person is overseen by a certified food protection manager or person in charge.\n\nC.
