A temporary registration plate expires and is void on receipt of a license plate provided pursuant to section 28-2351 or a year validating tab or on expiration of forty-five days from the date of issuance.\n\nB. A person to whom a temporary registration plate has been issued shall destroy the temporary registration plate immediately on receipt of a license plate provided pursuant to section 28-2351 or a year validating tab.
