The department, including department employees, shall not knowingly obtain or disclose personal information or highly restricted personal information except as authorized by law.\n\nB. A person shall not knowingly obtain or disclose personal information or highly restrictive personal information from a motor vehicle record for any use not permitted under section 28-455, subsection B or C.\n\nC. A person shall not make a false representation to obtain any personal information or highly restrictive personal information from an individual's motor vehicle record.\n\nD. A person who violates this section is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.\n\nE.
