A person with a driver license or nonoperating identification license issued by the department may request that the department note in the department’s customer record that the person may need a communication accommodation.\n\nB. The owner of a vehicle registered in this state may request that the department note in the department’s vehicle record that there may be an occupant of the vehicle that may need a communication accommodation.\n\nC. The request shall be made in a method determined by the department.\n\nD. The department shall establish procedures to make the notations available only to law enforcement agencies.\n\nE.
