The state board of technical registration is established consisting of members who are appointed by the governor as follows:\n\n1. One architect.\n\n2. One professional engineer.\n\n3. Six public members, at least one of whom has a legal, construction or design product background.\n\n4. One landscape architect.\n\n5. One geologist.\n\n6. One land surveyor.\n\nB. On the expiration of any of the terms, a successor who is qualified pursuant to subsection A of this section shall be appointed for a full term of three years. The governor may remove a member of the board for misconduct, incapacity or neglect of duty. Appointment to fill a vacancy caused other than by expiration of term shall be for the unexpired portion of the term.\n\nC.
