An administrator or executor of the estate of a deceased dentist, or a person who is legally authorized to act for a dentist who has been adjudicated to be mentally incompetent, must notify the board within sixty days after the dentist's death or incapacitation. The administrator or executor may employ a licensed dentist for a period of not more than one year to:\n\n1. Continue the deceased or incapacitated dentist's practice.\n\n2. Conclude the affairs of the deceased or incapacitated dentist, including the sale of any assets.\n\nB.
