The board may issue a temporary nurse practitioner, certified nurse midwife or clinical nurse specialist certificate, including prescribing and dispensing authority, or a temporary clinical nurse specialist certificate to a registered nurse who holds an unencumbered temporary or permanent license and who meets the requirements for certification and prescribing and dispensing authority as prescribed by this chapter and board rules.\n\nB.
