A person who does any of the following is guilty of a class 6 felony:\n\n1. Performs a health care task if that person is not licensed pursuant to this chapter or is not exempt from licensure pursuant to this chapter.\n\n2. Secures a license to perform health care tasks by fraud or deceit.\n\n3. Impersonates a member of the board.\n\nB. A person who is not licensed pursuant to this chapter shall not use the designation \"P.A.\", \"P.A.-C.\" or \"Physician assistant\" or use any other words, initials or symbols in a way that leads the public to believe that the person is licensed pursuant to this chapter.
