An applicant for licensure as an occupational therapist or as an occupational therapy assistant shall:\n\n1. Successfully complete the academic and fieldwork requirements of an educational program subject to board review and standards prescribed by the board. The board shall require:\n\n(a) For an occupational therapist, a minimum of nine hundred twenty-eight hours of supervised fieldwork experience as determined by the supervising institution, organization or sponsor.\n\n(b) For an occupational therapy assistant, a minimum of six hundred eight hours of supervised fieldwork experience as determined by the supervising institution, organization or sponsor.\n\n2. Pass an examination administered pursuant to section 32-3424.\n\n3. Complete the application process and pay all fees required pursuant to this chapter.\n\nB. The board may deny a license to an applicant who:\n\n1. Commits a felony, whether or not involving moral turpitude, or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude. In either case conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction is conclusive evidence of the commission.\n\n2. Engages in any conduct that violates section 32-3401.\n\nC.
