The deputy director may deny the initial issuance or renewal of a license or certificate as a registered trainee appraiser, a supervisory appraiser or a state-licensed or state-certified appraiser to an applicant who has been convicted of a felony or on any of the grounds prescribed in this chapter.\n\nB. To assist in determining whether grounds exist to deny the initial issuance or renewal of a license or certificate to an applicant, the deputy director shall require the applicant to apply for a valid fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to section 41-1758.03.\n\nC.
