{"data":{"id":"us-az/a.r.s.-36-2979","jurisdiction":"us-az","citation":"A.R.S. § 36-2979","heading":"Definitions","body":"(Conditionally Rpld.)\n\nIn this article, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n1. \"Administration\" means the Arizona health care cost containment system administration.\n\n2. \"Applicant\" means a person who applies for enrollment in the pilot program.\n\n3. \"Behavioral health services\" has the same meaning prescribed in section 36-401.\n\n4. \"Contractor\" means an entity that has entered into an agreement with the administration to provide acute care and behavioral health services to seriously mentally ill individuals pursuant to article 1 of this chapter and chapter 34, article 1 of this title.\n\n5. \"Eligible individual\" means a person who meets the eligibility criteria prescribed in section 36-2979.02.\n\n6. \"Enhanced residential treatment facility\" has the same meaning prescribed in section 36-401.\n\n7. \"Enhanced residential treatment services\" means services authorized under federal medicaid authority pursuant to section 36-2979.09 that support individuals in an enhanced residential treatment facility and that include continuous supervision, structured support services, medication administration and monitoring, treatment planning and coordination and personal care services necessary for health and safety.\n\n8. \"Member\" means an eligible individual who is enrolled in the pilot program.\n\n9. \"Pilot program\" means the seriously mentally ill enhanced residential treatment pilot program established by section 36-2979.01.\n\n10. \"Seriously mentally ill\" or \"SMI\" has the same meaning prescribed in section 36-550.\n\n11. \"SMI enhanced level of care\" means the functional and behavioral level of care criteria adopted by the administration pursuant to section 36-2979.02.\n\n12. \"Structured support services\" has the same meaning prescribed in section 36-401.","path":["Title 36 Public Health and Safety"],"source_url":"https://www.azleg.gov/ars/36/02979.htm","current_through":"57th Legislature, 2nd Regular Session (effective 2027-01-01); mirror section count 24991","vintage":"2026-09-15","retrieved_at":"2026-09-26T04:29:04Z","sha256":"c6969d38d0b60e316c768563379617d8a130a01bc81642154655dd5f3cd0942e","source_id":"us-az","stale":false,"prev":"us-az/a.r.s.-36-2976","next":"us-az/a.r.s.-36-2979.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
