{"data":{"id":"us-az/a.r.s.-48-5901","jurisdiction":"us-az","citation":"A.R.S. § 48-5901","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n1. \"Board\" means the board of directors of a multijurisdictional water facilities district formed pursuant to this chapter.\n\n2. \"District\" means a multijurisdictional water facilities district formed pursuant to this chapter.\n\n3. \"Jurisdiction\" means a city, town or county.\n\n4. \"Municipal water provider\" means a city, town, domestic water improvement district, private water company or irrigation district that supplies water for nonirrigation use.\n\n5. \"Private water company\" means a public service corporation as defined in article XV, Constitution of Arizona, that provides water or wastewater services or both.\n\n6. \"Water related facility\" means a facility for any of the following purposes:\n\n(a) Drinking water conveyance, treatment or storage.\n\n(b) Wastewater conveyance, treatment or storage.\n\n(c) Reclamation and reuse of water.\n\n(d) Recharge, storage or recovery of water.","path":["Title 48 Special Taxing Districts"],"source_url":"https://www.azleg.gov/ars/48/05901.htm","current_through":"2026-09-04","vintage":"2026-08-09","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:49:56Z","sha256":"9e30d4a2fda31a8d5b0be3bdf05a1a7b87823c4a190b99394695146ad8206e67","source_id":"us-az","stale":true,"prev":"us-az/a.r.s.-48-590","next":"us-az/a.r.s.-48-5902"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
