{"data":{"id":"us-ca/bpc-121","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"BPC § 121","heading":"","body":"No licensee who has complied with the provisions of this code relating to the renewal of the licensee’s license prior to expiration of such license shall be deemed to be engaged illegally in the practice of the licensee’s business or profession during any period between such renewal and receipt of evidence of such renewal which may occur due to delay not the fault of the applicant.\nAs used in this section, “license” includes “certificate,” “permit,” “authorization,” and “registration,” or any other indicia giving authorization, by any agency, board, bureau, commission, committee, or entity within the Department of Consumer Affairs, to engage in a business or profession regulated by this code or by the board referred to in the Chiropractic Act or the Osteopathic Act.","path":["Business and Professions Code - BPC","DIVISION 1.
