{"data":{"id":"us-ca/bpc-21551","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"BPC § 21551","heading":"","body":"Every person dealing in secondhand goods, wares or merchandise, either as pawnbroker or otherwise, who buys or receives as a pledge any builders’ tools shall keep a register in which shall be entered all of the following:\n(a) The place, date and hour of the sale or pledge of any such tools.\n(b) The name, address and description of the seller or pledgor.\n(c) A description of the tools, including all numbers, letters, names and other identification marks appearing thereon.\n(d) The name and address of the individual to whom such tools were sold or pledged.","path":["Business and Professions Code - BPC","DIVISION 8.
