{"data":{"id":"us-ca/bpc-22757.4","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"BPC § 22757.4","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A violator of this chapter shall be liable for a civil penalty in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per violation to be collected in a civil action filed by the Attorney General, a city attorney, or a county counsel.\n(2) A prevailing plaintiff in an action brought pursuant to this subdivision shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s costs and fees.\n(b) Each day that a covered provider, large online platform, or capture device manufacturer is in violation of this chapter shall be deemed a discrete violation.\n(c) For a violation by a third-party licensee of paragraph (3) of subdivision (c) of Section 22757.3, the Attorney General, a county counsel, or a city attorney may bring a civil action for both of the following:\n(1) Injunctive relief.\n(2) Reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.","path":["Business and Professions Code - BPC","DIVISION 8.
