Within 30 days of service of the notice, the applicant may file a written petition for a license with the department. Upon receipt of a timely filed petition, the department shall set the petition for hearing. The hearing shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 11500) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, and the director shall have all the powers granted therein. Any appeal from a final decision of the department shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 26040).","path":["Business and Professions Code - BPC","DIVISION 10.
