{"data":{"id":"us-ca/edc-49091.18","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"EDC § 49091.18","heading":"","body":"Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a school may not require a pupil or a pupil’s family to submit to or participate in any of the following:\n(a) Any assessment, analysis, evaluation, or monitoring of the quality or character of the pupil’s home life.\n(b) Any form of parental screening or testing.\n(c) Any nonacademic home-based counseling program.\n(d) Parent training.\n(e) Any prescribed family education service plan.\n(f) Nothing in this section shall be construed as preventing the screening, testing, or training of public school employees.","path":["Education Code - EDC","TITLE 2.
