{"data":{"id":"us-ca/edc-49132","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"EDC § 49132","heading":"","body":"(a) A permit shall not be issued until the minor accompanied by the minor’s parent or guardian appears before the person authorized to issue the permit and submits the minor’s application thereto.\n(b) A permit shall not be denied for noncompliance with subdivision (a) if all of the following apply:\n(1) The minor’s school is physically closed for an extended period of time because of a natural disaster, pandemic, or other emergency.\n(2) The minor’s application is complete and has been successfully submitted electronically.\n(3) The minor, accompanied by the minor’s parent or guardian, has attended a video conference with the person issuing the work permit.\n(c) This section shall apply only to minors subject to Section 49130.","path":["Education Code - EDC","TITLE 2.
