{"data":{"id":"us-ca/gov-1226","jurisdiction":"us-ca","citation":"GOV § 1226","heading":"","body":"When the records in the office of any public board or officer authorized to issue certificates show the issuance of a certificate other than a certificate of acknowledgment and it appears by affidavit that the certificate has been lost or destroyed by conflagration or other public calamity, the board or officer may issue a duplicate of the certificate.
