The district attorneys and other prosecuting attorneys of counties and cities shall prosecute violations of this part.\nUpon request of the board, the Attorney General may appoint a special attorney to prosecute the violations specified in the request.\nThe board may appoint and fix the compensation of an attorney to advise and represent it in any matter in which any party thereto has been previously advised or represented by the Attorney General.","path":["Government Code - GOV","TITLE 2.
